| Description of the problem | The consumer had trouble braking when going down a hill. There was tremendous heat being released from the brakes. Taken to dealer for checkup. *jb. The lowest automatic transmission ha dno slowing effect on down hill speed. This required brake usage. At the brake check point brake leap was 385 degrees. Anything over 350 degress requires at least a 45 minute wait before continuing. While the brakes did not fail completely, they were approaching a temperature which could result in failure. *ak |
