Description of the problem	I have nissan quest 2004 mini van. 2 weeks back one day my son 7 year old got trapped in the 3rd row seat on the passenger side. We couldn't take him out. If i try to loose the belt the it keep locking finally i had to cut the seat belt. Usually if the belt locksup then if you release the belt it usually frees up but it didn't do it . Luckily this happened when got to back to home and my kids were trying to come out of the van. I think this needs a little attention. I don't know if this is faulty seat belt or faulty mechanism. I strongly believe this mechanism was faulty and there is a possibility of kids getting trapped if they are not properly using seat belts. Mainly if the lock and release mechanism is not working properly.
