Description of the problem	Was told on 6/28/08 that my quest needed a new "brain" for the computer and this is what was causing the vehicle to not go out of second gear. We are still waiting on the part and nissan usa has no answers for when the part will be in. They have refused us a rental because it is not their policy because the 5/60 warranty is out, but the part to the engine is under warranty. The car is unsafe to drive - the transmission often slips as well as provides no acceleration most of the time.
