Description of the problemThe transmission slipped on three occasions. First time it failed to accelerate from a stop. I had to almost floor the gas pedal before it began to move. It finally corrected itself after a couple miles. The second event, i was on the highway, the vehicle accelerated well, but when the pedal was released, the engine rpms dropped to idle, i was doing 60 mph. This happened the whole trip, after it was parked for a few minutes i restarted it . The drive home was uneventful. The third event was the same as the first, the transmission slipped as though there was no fluid in it. I brought it into the dealer and they could not duplicate the problem, and told me if it happens again to go to the closest dealer while the problem was happening. After reading similar complaints on this website, there is a major problem with this model that needs to be addressed before someone gets killed.*ak
