Description of the problem	2004 nissan quest. Consumer writes in regards to a faulty design/ installation of engine control module. *smd the consumer stated the ecm was installed directly under the windshield plastic cowl. The open mesh cowl would drain all the water directly onto the ecm. It was how water dripped on the ecm's enclosure, that caused the corrosion prematurely. The repairman even decided not to install the replacement in its original bracket to avoid accumulating moisture.
