| Description of the problem | See link http://questdriver. Com/node/546my ecm went out on the highway, leaving my wife and a van load of kids stranded. My warranty had run out and the mechanic i brought it to told me it was rusted out and caused a fire in the ecm. The frame has a design flaw that allows snow and water to sit in the mount that holds it causing it to rust out.( the replacement has holes in it so this doesn't happen again showing that it should have been recalled! I am having the same trouble as everyone else, i get a run around from nissan that i have to take it to their dealership pay $1500 repair bill and if there is a recall i might get paid back! I don't have $1500 to blow i have a family that needs a reliable van! |
