Description of the problem	I have a 2014 pathfinder, it started discharging massive amounts of white smoke from the tailpipe. I took it to my mechanic and they said that it needed a new engine. He explaned, that the oil rings are bad and oil is leaking in the engine and that the only solution was a new engine asap. My car has less than 83,000 miles. My mechanic said i could take the issue up with nissan directly and maybe they would help out because these cars are known to have this problem. I kept up with my maintenance. I'm absolutely disappointed and upset with this problem. It has to be a known manufacturing problem. This is a recurring issue that nissan is aware with and needs to address.
