Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2009 nissan pathfinder. While driving at approximately 40 mph, there was an abnormal noise coming from the front of the vehicle and the service engine warning indicator illuminated continuously. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that there was cross contamination in the radiator. As a result, the transmission and the radiator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was later taken to a dealer where it was confirmed that the radiator failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
