Description of the problem	Ses indicator illuminated. Loss of power was noticed. Took vehicle to independent service center where code was read indicating fuel system error. Upon further diagnosis, the fuel pump assembly was recalled. When the selling dealer was notified they said the recall date had expired as of last november and was not covered. The cost to replace the fuel pump assembly was more than $970. We should have been notified of the recall but were not. Since the parts are only available from nissan, the cost of the parts should be covered even after expiration of the recall especially with the loss of power. *js
