Description of the problem	My 2008 pathfinder's check engine light came on while my fuel gauge is showing empty when i would fill up constantly, the mileage on the vehicle was approx. 105,000. I was informed that it was my fuel level sensor that needed replaced, nissan north america informs me my vin isn't covered in the nhtsa reference #10v075000 recall of the fuel level sensor that began march 2010, i purchased my vehicle used after the recall was initiated. Due to the fuel level sensor needing replaced ($600), i was not able to pass my emissions test in co ($25), and am not able to register my vehicle ($200). So if i have to pay for my own repairs i will have to replace a part that nissan is aware has an issue, get a second emissions test and pay any late fees on top of my annual registration fee. I believe that if nissan is aware or this issue they should repair my vehicle at no cost to me and/or if a recall was initiated then there needs to be more explanation as to why my vin is not included.
