Description of the problem	I own a 2007 nissan pathfinder with a faulty fuel gauge. There is a recall, but my vehicle is not covered due to the limited production range of the recall. I feel nissan should honor the recall on all vehicles with this problem as it's clear they have a problem with their fuel gauge. My only option is to spend over $400 out of pocket and maybe they will have a secondary recall that will refund my money. This is not acceptable and this is a safety issue as running out of gas puts not only the persons in the vehicle at risk but other drivers as well depending on where the vehicle runs out of gas.
