Description of the problem	I live in oklahoma and drive dirt roads daily. I purchased a 2007 nissan pathfinder in 2007 and have two canisters replaced. I was not told when i purchased the car that it should not be driven on dirt roads because the canister clogs. I was told by the dealer this is a design defect. My concern: i have 82,000 miles on the car, my extended warranty runs out at 100,000 miles. I will drive dirt roads for the rest of my life, i want some sort of guarantee that the next time this canister fails (which causes the service engine light to come on), that the cost of repair will not be on me. I don't feel this is fair. It seems to be an ongoing problem. Is there actually a design flaw and can i have some sort of guarantee that nissan will stand behind this. I don't think it would be fair to sell the car and pass this problem onto them. It is very costly to repair. Updated ivoq 10/04/10
