Description of the problem	I own a 06 nissan pathfinder. There is a fuel sensor recall on the 06 pathfinders. This sensor estimates how much gas you have left in the tank. Approximately at 1/2 tank, the fuel level gauge show the fuel on empty. For some reason my pathfinder is not covered under the recall. I was told by nissan that not all 06 pathfinders were part of the recall even though i am having the same problem. Nissan finally said that my extended warranty (that i paid for) would cover the sensor. My out of pocket expense would be a $50 deductible. I asked how many other pathfinders were made with the same batch of fuel sensors/ is anyone else having trouble or am i the only one. They are not able to give me any information besides the day my car was made - aug 29, 2006.
