Description of the problem	We have had 3 separate incidents where our fuel gauge was reading 1/4 of a tank and it was actually empty. My wife was stranded with my young children for an hour before she was able to get gas. I contacted nissan and advised them of the incident and that there was a recall for a fuel tank problem. They then advised me that my vin was not part of the recall. How is it that tens of thousands of vehicles in the same year and model had the same issue but mine was not one.
