Description of the problem	I received a warranty notification for my '06 nissan pathfinder stating that model year 2005-2008 pathfinder vehicles, an issue with the fuel sending unit may cause the fuel gauge to inaccurately display the amount of fuel in the fuel tank. I had been experiencing this problem for a while just hadn't had the funds to fix it. Nissan is extending your vehicle's new vehicle limited warranty as it applies to the fuel gauge sending unit from 36 months / 36,000 miles to 72 months 72,000 miles. After placing the call on friday dec. 3, 2010 to romeo #41550 informed me to go get a vehicle diagnostic performed on my car. Went to nissan south paid $107. 48 they determined that it was indeed the fuel gauge sender unit tech found code p0463. The advisor muhammad stated that my reference number was forwarded to a regional specialist christy ferreda ext. 1658 for further review. I left several messages to find out the status and on 12/8/10 4:10 pm melissa ext. 1658 from nissan called me back and stated that it was still being reviewed and she would get back in touch with me friday or monday and that she had other customer's and that's why she can't answer her phone. She also stated that it wasn't really a recall it was just an extension of the warranty. While i was having the car checked they also replaced a ecm relay on recall that i didn't even know about. Very unhappy with my nissan pathfinder and all of the many recalls and the servicethat i am receiving is terrible. As i stated to mellisa i am expecting for them to replace that part and reimburse me for the $107. 48 because they know about there defective part and it is the right thing to do .
