Description of the problem	Service engine soon light came on. Fuel gauge is not registering properly. Filled tank, gauge does not register full tank. Will run out of gas if gauge not registering properly. It occurs every time gas is put in car ses light comes on and gauge doesn't register full. Dealer was going to replace fuel level sending unit but we elected not to replace because of cost. Called nissan - other 2006 pathfinders qualify for replacement under recall but they say my vin does not fall under current recall.
