| Description of the problem | I have a 2006 nissan pathfinder. It has been diagnosed by a nissan dealer with a defective fuel level sensor. This same issue has triggered a recall for 2005 and 2006 vehicles manufactured within three months of my manufacturer date yet has not been expanded to include all of the 2006 model year. This is an existing issue that should be included in the current recall. This could result in accidents and injuries as vehicles can unexpectedly run out of gas and become uncontrollable on highways or other dangerous scenarios. I contacted nissan and asked them to review this issue and include the entire 2006 model year but was told that it would not be at this time. |
