Description of the problem	When i fill up my gasoline tank the instrument panel fuel gauge shows that i do not have any gasoline; this causes the fuel warning light to remain on. I have completely filled up my tank a number of times and this problem has been occurring for about four months. I believe there is problem with the fuel sender float arm because the instrument panel fuel gauge shows inaccurate levels of fuel. I am afraid that i may run out of gas and not be in the area of a gas station. This is dangerous because i need to know at all times what my fuel levels are. I am afraid to drive long distances. I have no way of determining how low my fuel really is or how much is in the gas tank. A diagnostic test revealed a code that found the vehicle had a bad fuel sending unit. The consumer referenced recall # 10v075000. However, he was informed the recall did not apply to his vehicle, because it was outside of the warranty period. Updated 05/27/15. *jb
