Description of the problem	Tlthe contact owns a 2006 nissan pathfinder. The contact stated that after taking the vehicle in for a regular service. Upon leaving the check engine light illuminated and then her fuel gauge started to malfunction and read empty when she knew that there was a full tank of gas in the vehicle. She took the vehicle back to the dealer when the light illuminated and they advised her that the fuel sender unit had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired for the fuel sender lever. The manufacturer advised her that her vehicle was not included in any recalls and they offered no assistance.
