Description of the problem	Purchased four (4) new kumho road venture apt tires size p265/70/r16 on 8/1/2009. At time of purchase the suv had 58,951 miles. After getting a low air pressure alarm from the vehicle on 10/4/2009, i checked the tire pressure and noticed three (3) sidewall defects on the left front tire. At this time, the suv has 61,581 miles. I took the vehicle back to the tire retailer for inspection. The tire retailer states that the defect is due to a normal manufacturing practice of overlapping material. The tire retailer could not explain why three (3) defects instead of one (1) defect. This appears to be a manufacturing defect not covered by a recall notice.
