| Description of the problem | Transmission failed while driving on city streets. Car would not shift out of low gear, forcing my wife to get home on road shoulders with emergency lights on. Thankfully very light traffic on a weekday afternoon. Researching online, found that this is an issue with the pathfinder, radiator coolant leaking and causing transmission failure. Never notified regarding any recalls or such. |
