| Description of the problem | 2005 nissan pathfinder faulty fuel gauge. Showed half full, vehicle stalled in roadway. Gauge fluctuates. Shows full, then empty. Check engine light on... Brought to dealer advised 'fuel sender' unit code error. After researching on the internet, discovered a recall for years 2006 and newer. Very concerned the recall #10v-075 did not cover 2005 years. I am very frustrated due to the safety issue of my vehicle running out of gas due to a nissan faulty fuel gauge/sending unit. 2005 pathfinder appears to be one of the worst reliable years nissan has produced the pathfinder..... But 2005 was not part of the recall??? Why? |
