| Description of the problem | I have a 2005 nissan pathfinder & experiencing the same fuel sensor issues the recall is addressing but starting with 2006 models. This just started around 80k a month ago, but now is unsafe for to drive alone at night with my infant child. The "dte" first started flashing around 100 mile dte..... Then the service engine soon light came on for good. Now, i fill up and the gauge does not move at all and always has a warning light on. How i am supposed to tell how much gas i have? This is a $500 fix that i should not have to pay for, especially since my 2005 model is the exact same vehicle as the 2006 that was included in the recall. Please help as there seems to be hundreds of 2005 nissan pathfinder owners with this same problem. |
