| Description of the problem | I filled my tank up one day and after getting in the vehicle it showed empty on the tank and the service engine light came on. I found out it was a fuel sending unit that went bad. I was at 38,000 miles on the nissan pathfinder and the warranty was up conveniently. The bill for fixing this is over $400. I have not fixed it yet because i know there is gas in there and it drives fine, but my wife goes hay wire about it every time she fills up the tank and it still shows empty. I wish nissan would send a recall or technical service bulletin to get this fixed for free. I sounds like there are many problems of this same nature. |
