| Description of the problem | Have had problems with check engine light since purchasing the car. Brought to dealer several time they said gas cap was loose after they tighten the gas cap the light came back on they said it was a gross evap leak then replaced a valve or sensor at the gas tank. The problem came back and with a little internet research i found there is a technical service bulletin ntb07-069a. The problem is the fuel gauge will read different i can have a full tank and it says 1/4 tank also anytime the car gets below 1/2 tank the check engine light comes on. Brought to the dealer and they replaced a sensor in the fuel and it seems to be fixed. They wanted to replace the fuel pump and sensor for close to $600 the sensor was around $300. |
