| Description of the problem | When accelerating in low gears, there is a loud fan noise. Loss of power, and a very high revving engine just before shifting to next higher gear. When finally reach 40 mph or so, revving goes down but very load fan/engine noise is still there. This has happened several times. The latest was 09/21. The first was on 08/06 on the interstate in tennessee. Just purchased van in mid august. Only 1200 miles on it. Taking it to dealer tomorrow but they don't believe me that something is wrong. Worried that it will damage engine or transmission and leave me stranded somewhere. |
