| Description of the problem | Sporadically, 3-4 times a week, while driving it begins to sound like there is a jet engine in my van and it loses power. This happens while moving, and i cannot accelerate and the vehicle speed drops. Turning off the air conditioner can cause the sound to go away and power to be restored. I know of other nvp's who are having the same problem, at least one that has been brought to the same dealer as mine. The dealer says the vehicle is not throwing a code so there is nothing wrong with it, except we cannot maintain any speed or accelerate and it takes several seconds to regain power after turning off the air. This is very dangerous in some driving conditions. The van is only 3 weeks old. |
