| Description of the problem | Vehicle lost power while traveling in rush hour traffic. Engine was running but there was no response when stepping down on accelerator. This problem has occurred 3 times in the last three (3) weeks and at least a half-dozen times in the last two (2) months. This vehicle is a 2014 nissan nv200 taxi s 2wd. This problem has been reported to my garage mechanics who are baffled and turned over to the dealership (koeppel nissan, long island city, ny) who are also baffled. Both my garage mechanics and the service people at koeppel state this appears to be an ongoing and troublesome problem fleet wide with this model but nissan has yet either not completely acknowledged the problem or developed an adequate fix. |
