Description of the problem | Under certain lighting conditions from the sun, a strong glare can appear and come through the windshield and into the driver's and/or passenger's eyesight. This is caused by the design of the hood and where it dips down near the front edge of the windshield. There is about a 5" wide area that spans the with of the hood, around the lower section of the windshield. I have read of others having this same issue and the light can be 'blinding' at times like the light reflecting off a mirror on a bright sunny day. For safety reasons, i have decided to coat this area of the hood with either a matte finished vinyl or a matte finished plasti-dip spray. I am hoping this will alleviate/eliminate the dangers of this glare that can happen. ** to note, i have read of others expressing their concerns with this issue on automotive forums so i know it is more common than originally thought |
