| Description of the problem | As we were driving on a city street our 2016 nissan murano we could smell plastic melting or burning while having our driver seat heating system turned on. We turned off the heating system. Now, our driver seat heater does not turn on at all. We plan to take the vehicle to a nissan dealership to get it diagnosed, but after doing some research online, we could read that many others dealt with this issue previously. The electrical harness under the drivers seat gets too hot and begins to melt. It seems that this is a safety issue due to a failure of the eletrical harness. I will have a specific diagnosis soon. |
