Description of the problem	The murano has approximately 35,000 miles on it. It was driving fine without any strange noises. It suddenly lost power and would not go faster than 2 mph. Luckily it was on a dead end road and there was traffic around or it would have been hit and the driver would have been severely injuries if not killed. There was absolutely no warning and no lights on the dashboard. It is going to cost $800 to fix as it has been diagnosed as the alternator. The vehicle had to be towed.
