Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2015 nissan murano. While at a stop light and waiting for the light to turn green, the contact attempted to accelerate when the collision avoidance monitoring system erroneously activated and caused the vehicle to abruptly stop in the middle of a busy intersection. The contact indicated that the failure also occurred one time previously. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (garden city nissan in hemstead, ny) who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 19,000. Updated 12/13/2017 ln consumer stated the manufacture was notified 9/27/17. The specialist said that he did not find any problem.
