| Description of the problem | While driving at a safe speed on the highway (65 mph) with no other cars in my vicinity my sunroof exploded for no reason at all. The was a loud boom and then the interior material of the sunroof started flapping. Since it was closed at the time, i'm thankful that the interior material caught the majority of the glass with only the remaining outskirts of glass making its way into the car. This happened out of the blue for no apparent reason. There were no other cars near me so it could not have been from a rock or something that was kicked up from another vehicle. It was a clear, sunny day in the upper 60's. |
