Description of the problem	I was exiting the highway when a car abruptly pulled in front of me and i had step on the brakes with great force to stop in time without crashing. Immediately afterwards when i had to use the brakes again at a red light, i had to push down the brake pedal almost all the way down to the floor to stop the car. The brakes felt spongey and provided almost no resistance to my foot as i pressed down. The issue persisted for a few days before i took it to a local mechanic. They tried several of the standard fixes when this type of brake issue arises, including going as far as to replace the master cylinder, which did not fix the issue. The brake issue only was resolved once they put the car in the air, accelerated, and pumped the brakes multiple times which eventually, somehow brought the brakes back to normal capacity. The mechanic says he has seen this issue in many nissan muranos and he speculates that the these models have a faulty abs sensor module which causes the brakes to lock up if used too hard. I
