| Description of the problem | All power to the vehicle was lost while parked in garage. Once car was jumped, all warning lights came on and stayed on. Drove to the shop to get new baterry. Speedometer was not working, map on gps was not working. Mechanic diagnosed that the abs actuator needs to be replaced at a cost of 3,500. 00. The car is unsafe to drive as i have no way to cover the cost of the repair. This apparently has been an issue with 2009 and again 2011 they 2017 vehicles. Why was 2010 skipped in the recall. I have a car in the garage that is unsafe and while all other years have been recalled, the 2010 owners are driving unsafe vehicles which could lead to disastrous accidents. Why is nhtsa not looking into this? Will it take crashes to get someone's attention? |
