| Description of the problem | Without warning, while in motion the brake pedal went all the way to the floor. After analysis, the mechanic thought that it might be the master cylinder. It was not, and he indicated that it was the abs actuator or an abs braking issue. I took it to the nissan dealer and they said there were no brake recalls and that any service or investigation would be at my expense. This vehicle only has 71,600 miles on it and the braking system certainly should not be compromised at this point. It is a safety issue, that has been haunting nissan in the past, is my opinion. I feel that nissan needs to take care of seriousness of this safety. |
