| Description of the problem | While driving downtown, suddenly the brake pedal was ineffective except when pressed all the way to the floor. Only an emergency maneuver avoided an accident. The car was taken immediately to the dealer, who identified loss of pressure in the brake system, first replacing the master cylinder without improvement, then diagnosing issues with abs. Carcomplaints. Com and other websites list this as an item under government investigation for 2009 muranos. The car is at approximately 65,000 miles. Attached is the initial diagnostics from the dealer. Subsequent to master brake cylinder replacement, dealer asserted that was not the problem and are now working on abs. |
