| Description of the problem | The abs actuator in my car began to fail and had to be replaced by nissan. When tapping the brake pedal, it continued to have pressure and properly slow the car. However, when approaching stop lights, stop signs, or otherwise braking hard (anything requiring me to apply more steady pressure to the brakes), the brake pedal would go all the way to the floor requiring me to increase my stopping distance. I was in a near-accident incident when someone who was stopped in the adjacent lane quickly pulled over into my lane, requiring me to apply rapid brake pressure. This situation was made worse by icy roads and left me panicked and concerned. The cost of the repair was $2,500. |
