| Description of the problem | Started having trouble with brake pedal feeling soft had brake fluid checked, and fluid level was okay. The brake pedal started to feel okay. On may 4th 2017 my wife was driving home from the store and went over a bump in the road right before a stop light. When she tried to stop the brake pedal went to the floor and she was unable to stop. I drove the car to the nissan dealership, about 3 miles using the back roads and the park brake to stop. The dealer called and said the master cylinder and brake actuator need to be replaced and will cost over $3,000. 00. The work is suppose to be done today. I hate to have work done if this will not fix the problem. I am a retired nissan employee and have owned many nissan vehicles and never had a problem until now. Thanks |
