| Description of the problem | Abs? I have lost brake pressure twice, 6 months apart. First time i was exiting interstate 40, hit a small hole in the road before the stop light and my brake peddle went to the floor. Thankfully i was able to stop. The "spongy" brake continued until i stopped about 5 minutes later. After turning the car off and restarting, the brakes were fine. The next instance was when i was leaving work. Again, i hit a small bump in the road and the brake peddle went to the floor. The "spongy" brake continued until i stopped, turned my car off and restarted. The brakes were fine after that. I'm concerned for my safety. What happens next time when i have no brakes at all? |
