| Description of the problem | The vehicle is registered in my daughters name. The nissan dealership stated that there was a short in the alternator and the battery had completely burnt out due to it. That put the murano into the "fail safe" mode. This occurred at a very dangerous intersection, leaving my daughter stranded in the #2 lane and there was not a shoulder available. After researching murano's i found that it is just like what happen to the 2005 murano's that had to recalled. After writing and calling nissan, they refused to help with the matter. The nhtsa needs to push nissan for a recall. |
