| Description of the problem | Airbag warning light on dashboard started blinking and will not stop. Took 2009 murano to dealership and was told the airbag sensors was malfunctioning and i would have to replace my entire passenger seat to fix it, at a cost of over $5,000. The make, model and year of my vehicle is included in the nhtsa campaign 08v521000, which highlights this identical problem yet my vin is not included in the recall. How can this be? Nissan should cover this severe safety failure that is happening to a lot of 2009 muranos. Vehicle has never been in an accident and has about 80,000 miles. Vehicle no longer feels safe to drive and repair cost is prohibitively high. |
