Description of the problem	I own a 2007 nissan murano sl awd. I have taken the vehicle to my local nissan dealer for almost all of the service to my car. I took the car to another local mechanic to verify the need for lower front control arms. The nissan dealer quoted ~ $900 for this service. To my surprise, my 2nd mechanic; who i have done business with for years, tells me that i don't need control arms but a new sub frame. The rear subframe on the murano is completely rusted. It is almost to the point where the rear axle can collapse. I did a search and discovered there are numerous nissan murano and quest owners that have this problem. This is a major safety issue. Nissan has to have known about this. But what really bothers me the most is that my local nissan dealer did not mention this to me. My car has been in that shop dozens of times over the years. It is there for state inspection every year............ And no one noticed.
