Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2007 nissan murano. The contact stated that the subframe of the vehicle had extensive rust and corrosion to the point that it could fracture. The failure was noticed over a year ago. Nissan of keene (544 monadnock hwy, swanzey, nh 03446, 888-266-3408) was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired because it was not included in any manufacturer recall campaigns. The manufacturer only issued one technical service bulletin regarding the structure. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for a front end alignment, but it could not be performed due to the rust. The subframe needed to be replaced to align the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure and provided no remedy. The failure mileage was not available. *tt
