Description of the problem	While driving home after work on the interstate i heard a pop and the driver seat collapsed toward the driver door. After almost colliding with a vehicle in the adjacent lane i came to a safe stop on the shoulder and investigated the driver seat. I was able to move the seat 4-5 inches form the left rear toward the right front quadrant. I lowered the seat which took some of the play out of the seat and finished the drive home. After further investigation the metal seat frame had broken loose at two brackets. I'm still researching safe alternatives to fix the seat frame. The nissan dealer told me they had a tsb on the seat and the replacement frame had the same fatigue issues. This known deficiency by nissan is a safety hazard and needs to be addressed.
