| Description of the problem | Upon entering my murano and backing out of my driveway there was a loud snap. The seat began to tilt. Drove straight to the dealership. They informed me that the bracket that holds the seat had sheared off and the only fix was to replace the seat to the cost of about $1500. I am very glad i wasn't traveling at a high rate of speed when this occurred. It seems ridiculous that a 4 year old car would have metal underneath a seat breaking unless it was being put under tremendous weight. As an average sized person this seems completely the fault of the manufacturer. |
