| Description of the problem | I was driving my car home from work when i turned a corner and my seat came off the floor. I wasn't going fast so i was able to keep control. The car is in excellent condition and only as 20k miles on it. I did some research online and found this to be a common problem due to faulty design of the power seats. Depending on the situation, this could definitely lead to an accident and serious harm since the seat is not securely fastened to the chassis of the car. The fact that nissan won't cover the cost to fix the issue ($1000 part plus $400 labor) because it is out of warranty is ridiculous. A car seat should not break at all let alone after 20k miles. This is a potential a serious issue that needs to be addressed. |
