Description of the problem	While driving on i95 the driver's seat broke and began rocking back and forth. I managed to maintain control of the car till i got home and propped the seat up with wood blocks. I looked online and found numerous complaints of the same problem from murano owners, 41 exact same complaints on the first site i viewed. Nissan admits no fault and recommends a $1200 repair. I called my nissan dealer and they said they see this problem constantly, but can usually make a weld repair for about $70. I took the car to the dealer and they quadrupled the price to $300 for the weld. When i balked, the mechanic and the service manager told me i had to have the repair done as it is a safety problem. I agree, it certainly is a safety problem. Shouldn't nissan acknowledge their design flaw before people are killed?
