Description of the problem	I recently purchased this car used. After driving it for a little while, the car started shaking every time i would try to accelerate, but would get smooth once i got up to speed. After a few stop and go, the car decided to go into limp mode. I managed to get the car home safely, but barely. Now it drives smooth for a few minutes and then the extreme shaking returns. It only happens when the car is in drive, and stops after i shift it out. After doing some research online, i found that the transmission in the 07 nissan murano is notorious for failing. Nissan actually extended the warranty to 10 years/ 120,000 miles. But if you cannot get it fixed within that time your stuck, because they are so bad no transmission shop would work on them. Every forum related to muranos just rants about how bad the transmission is. Nissan should be responsible for putting faulty transmissions in so many vehicles, i am scared to imagine what would happen if it failed on the highway while at speed.
