| Description of the problem | The car engine shut down all of sudden while driving at about 60mph on an interstate highway and didn't respond to action on accelerator. The car stopped in the middle of the highway and 2 police cars came and pushed the car out of the highway. The car was then towed to a service center. According to a diagnosis, we were informed that the cause is the failure of the fuse box. Power comes in the fuse box but does not come out. And also we were informed that this failure is uncommon. The part was replaced. However, we are now very concerned about the safety and reliability of our car because the above critical engine failure occurred to our fairly new car while driving. We purchased a new car and the car is a little over 2 years old and its mileage is only about 19k. *cn |
